Yes, you can! It can be used as a balanced 50/50 addition to your pet's usual food, as it’s nutritionally complete on its own. Just ensure the other half is also nutritionally balanced for a well-rounded diet.

With the addition of omega-3s as per our advice, the formulation is complete and balanced. Adding probiotics can further support gut health.

For pets with strong digestive systems, a cold turkey transition is fine. Otherwise, gradually replace 20% of their food for 3 days, then 50% for the next 3 days, until fully replaced.

Our recipes don't include omega-3 to prevent rancidity. We offer Nordic Naturals Anchovy & Sardine Oil softgels at an extra cost: one every other day for small/medium dogs and cats, and one daily for large dogs. Owners can also use their own omega-3 oil, adjusting the dosage accordingly.

Owners can add probiotics to the food if needed, but for healthy pets with no medical issues, daily probiotics are not necessary.
